Meal Planning Monday…
We have company this week and we are very excited about it. Grandma and Papa are coming for a visit. They do travelling mission work and try really hard to stop by and see us at least once a year. They are passing by our place as they move on to their last mission before they return home for the spring and summer.
Grandma and Papa are Hubby’s and my Spiritual Parents. They have known me since I was 3. When hubby and I moved to the south 12 years ago, Grandma and Papa started visiting shortly after. We look forward to our yearly visit with them. And the years that we get to see them more than once, we consider ourselves blessed. Our kids love them and get giddy with excitement when they know they are coming. In the past, we have had to hold the news as long as possible, because the endless questions of “When will they be here?” was just too much to take. Now that they are older, it is much better!
So, here is what we will be eating this week…
Eggs, Toast and Smoothies
Cheesy Chicken Pot Pies
Sandwiches and Salad
Soup and Salad
Pepperoni Pizza Puffs
Yogurt and blueberries (the kids new favorite)
Dried Fruit and Nuts
Muffins and Milk
Sweet and Sour Meatballs, Rice, and Egg Rolls (look for this recipe later this week)
Pork Chops, Rice and Gravy, and Green Beans
Homemade Calzones, Salad and Bread (I make extra meatballs for Sweet and Sour Meatballs and use them in these)
Steaks, Baked Potatoes, and Salad
