Moments to Remember: Rain Day

March 25, 2012

This past Wednesday was declared a rain day.  Our schools were closed because we were expected to have some serious weather.  When I woke up at 6am the rain had begun and by 7am our entire yard was flooded.  At that point in time Wrestler’s Mom and I talked and decided that it was best to not risk them driving to our home.  We were concerned that they would not be able to get back to pick Wrestler up.

Captain America and I did all of his school work before breakfast.  Julie did her work once she woke up.  I spent the whole day in my PJ’s.  It was fabulous!  The kids and I played games, ate Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip and Graham Crackers, and watched some TV.  We really enjoyed the day together and it was so relaxing!!

The weather ended up not being as bad as the weather men predicted and for that we Praise the Lord.  All in all it was a great day!

I could not have asked for a better day.  We had so much fun eating Cookie Dough Dip in the middle of the day, playing games, and just have good ole’ fun!

I’m so thankful for these precious memories!

Blessings,

Tirzah
