Meal Plan Monday… Eat out of the Freezer
Happy Monday to you! It is a new week full of new adventures and times to enjoy! Unfortunately I am starting mine at the dentist this morning and the podiatrist this afternoon. <SIGH> It could be a lot worse! ![]()
I have a question for you? Do you have a plan for the week? Do you know what you are going to eat? If not, I encourage you to sit down and plan out your meals for the week. This is a great way to start and by doing so, you will save money at the grocery store, by only purchasing what you need for the week. Be sure to shop your pantry first!
Another way to save money is to freeze your leftovers and incorporate these into your meal plan during the week. Leftovers are great for nights that you have church, sports practice, or other extra curricular activities. This week, I am feeding my family off of the leftovers in our freezer. By doing this, I only had to buy some fresh produce and a couple other items that we ran out of and I only spent $32 at the grocery store. This is my kind of shopping trip!!!
Here is our plan for the week:
