Key Lime Pie…

April 18, 2012

Today I have a great recipe for Key Lime Pie.  The best part is that it is low in sugar and can be made “almost” sugar free.  It’s easy too!

Ingredients

2 Containers Key Lime Yogurt (use sugar free if you can find it, if not, use fat-free and lowest in sugar)

1 Container Sugar Free Cool Whip

1 Small Package Instant Sugar Free Pudding Mix

1/4 Cup Skim Milk

1 Prepared Graham Cracker Crust (shop for one that is lowest in sugar)

Directions

In a bowl combine yogurt, cool whip, pudding mix and milk.  With a hand mixer, mix until well blended.  Fold in the cool whip until smooth.  Spread into graham cracker crust.  Refrigerate for at least one hour and then serve.

There are a number of combinations that you can make with this pie:

Chocolate pudding with plain yogurt (or chocolate yogurt if you can find it!)

Vanilla pudding with strawberry yogurt

Vanilla pudding with peach yogurt

Vanilla pudding with lemon yogurt

The combinations are endless… so be creative.

This pie is so YUMMY and I love that it is so low in sugar.

If you hurry you can make one for dessert tonight!!!

Enjoy!
